Pricing, Registration, and Student Policies
Click here to view lesson pricing. A $15 deposit is required to reserve a lesson slot for each semester. Deposits are required for spring, summer, and fall semesters. Deposits are non-refundable and are not credited toward the student's tuition.
Students have the option to pay in full for the semester, or agree to be placed on auto-pay which will run once each month. Students who pay in full for a semester must pay on or before their first lesson. If the student wishes to pay by cash or check, the balance must be paid on or before their first lesson to prevent an overdue or duplicate charge.
When signing up for lessons, students commit to their reserved time slot on the schedule for the full semester. We ask students or parents to make sure they can commit to their lesson time as we cannot change class schedules once the semester has begun.
Students who do not feel ready to commit to an entire semester can sign up on a month to month basis for an additional cost of $25/per month. If a student decides to commit to the remainder of a semester, they must inform the staff at [email protected], the additional non-commitment fee of $25 is not credited towards future lessons.
In the event that the student moves out of state or experiences an extreme illness, we will refund the remainder of the cost of the semesters lessons. Under no other circumstance will we issue a full refund of semester tuition. In the exempt of financial hardship, please contact us to discuss your commitment to lessons. We have scholarship programs available to help with your immediate needs. While we do ask that you commit to a semester of lessons, we understand that there may be situations that exempt from this. If the student decides to discontinue for reasons aside from relocation or medical, they must pay an exit fee of $25 per every month remaining in the current semester.
If individual who is responsible for lessons lessons does not pay for the semester upfront, they are required to sign a Credit Card Authorization Form. If the monthly invoice exceeds 30 overdue days the card on file will automatically be charged with or without notice given.
Makeup lessons are scheduled and given at the teacher's convenience with 24 hours notice.

Stickandstrum accepts students who have a natural curiosity to music and their instrument, and requires students to respect their teachers, fellow students, and instruments while in the studio. If a student is not able to do so, Stickandstrum teachers reserve the right to have the student sit out of lessons.
Students are expected to have an instrument at home and to purchase necessary books and materials required for lessons.
Stickandstrum encourages, but not enforces students to practice outside of lessons, but we ask parents to not gauge a student's progress based on practice. As long as students keep a natural curiosity toward their instrument, respect their teacher and instrument, and come to their weekly lessons, they will have great progress.
